What Makes Us Special

Meet Mary, Our New Organist

Mary 1 fb

We are so pleased to welcome a new organist to Resurrection Anglican! Her name is Mary Holbieson and she comes to us with great talent and experience.  Mary has an MA in Sacred Music, therefore bringing a deep classical background to our weekly worship service.

We were so saddened by the passing of our long-time and beloved organist, Ray Bradley, and we feared our wonderful organ would gather dust in his absence.  Yet again, God provided for us in sending Mary to fill our sanctuary with the sound of beautiful hymns!

We welcome Mary and invite everyone who loves traditional worship music to join us each and every Sunday!

A Memorial, What Makes Us Special

The Passing of Minor-Canon Ray Bradley, Organist for Resurrection Anglican Church

Ray 1 fb

Resurrection Anglican Church has lost our beloved first organist, Ray Bradley.  Ray was the type of musician who became the heart and soul of the instrument he played, and provided the verse and meter to our wonderful liturgy.

Ray was surrounded by his wife, Anna, and his children when he left this temporal life for an eternal one, and is now home with the Lord and Savior he loved so much.  Ray was a man of great faith, and despite his many health challenges remained a steadfast example of dedication to his faith and church.  We can’t thank him enough for his music, his gentle spirit, and his kindness.  We will miss you greatly dear friend.

Rest Eternal grant unto Him, O Lord, and May light perpetual shine upon him…
