Reverend Christopher Bogosh Ordained to the Preisthood

St. Andrew’s Traditional Anglican Church graciously hosted the ordination of Reverend Christopher Bogosh on Saturday, August 26th. Originally from Boston, Christopher was able to have his family in attendance – a day made even more meaningful with their love and support.

Ordained by our own The Right Reverend Ian D. Anderson, Christopher also had a number of Resurrection Anglican Church’s clergy in attendance. With a full church, beautiful organ music, and a catered luncheon following, it was a highly spiritual ceremony celebrated with great joy and fellowship.

Blog 2Deacon Mark Maurais, from Resurrection, led the processional, assisted in the ordination and read the Epistle. Canon Stephen DelSignore, Rector of St. Andrew’s, delivered a moving sermon on the meaning of the ministerial call.

We congratulate Reverend Christopher on his ordination and wish him many, many years in service to the Lord and those he ministers to along the way. We’re confident that all of those who know him will be richly blessed by his knowledge and compassion for others.

Blessings and Peace,

Christopher Bogosh Ordained a Deacon

Ordaining a man into the deaconate is both an honor and a pleasure.  While, it’s wonderful to see a man dedicate his life to worshiping God, spreading the Word to others while planning a new church is truly a blessing to all.

Christopher Bogosh was already an accomplished clergyman from another denomination when he came to Resurrection Anglican Church. Not long ago he felt compelled to continue his works in the Anglican Tradition, and so began his study and journey towards receiving Anglican orders.  A published author, his books are well written and thoroughly researched, providing the reader with valuable insight into living a Christian life in today’s complicated world.

So, it was with great joy that we welcomed him into the Reformed Anglican Church on June 9th as a Transitional Deacon. As we look forward to more of Christopher’s terrific preaching this summer, he will be preparing for his final ordination to the priesthood on August 26th in Middleborough, Massechussets.  The Very Reverend Stephen DelSignore of St. Andrew’s Anglican Church will host this event during the National Synod, August 25-27th. Along with visiting clergy, Presiding Bishop Del Murray will also be in attendance.

We couldn’t be more excited to see where Christopher’s walk takes him, and we’re looking forward to seeing the many lives he touches with the Gospel.
